At our Rottweiler kennel von der Alten Welt we believe that you can still have rottweilers that look like rottweilers and are capable of working at the highest levels. The rottweiler should still be capable of valuable service work like tracking and searching, while being an obedient companion and family protector.
We also believe that the schutzhund field is a place to prove that our dogs have the desirable temperament that our breed is best known for.
A good rottweiler should exhibit amazing intelligence and working ability, while still demonstrating stable nerves and a confident friendly demeanor during normal day to day family life. Also, they must look and move like rottweilers, because the appearance of power and nobility is also unique to our breed. Therefore, we focus our efforts on breeding the total dog that can do it all, and we hope that you'll agree when you see our dogs in action!
